Sanuki Udon - real udon in kl

If is not of TS outing, I won’t knew Nigel & add him in my fb. If is not of bakinlicious, I won’t  add SuYin in my fb. Just bcoz of them, I found this place from fb – Sanuki Udon. I was attracted by those pictures posted by others in fb & also the comments – cheap & nice udon – sound’s tempting. Since the location quite near Mid Valley, I decided to try it out tonight.

While I’m counting down for the time to leave office (aih… just to “show” face to my boss that I’m staying for O.T. really has no idea what kind of logic is he thinking about), I’m also wondering should I try out this new place alone or ask somebody to go with me. Finally, I decided to call up my sis to go with me as she will be leaving her office around 8pm. Then, she agreed and I’ll fetch her from Petaling Steet.

House Special Udon

I used google map to reach the destination (but not so accurate, prefer waze), it’s located at a row of shop lots within the housing area in taman bukit desa. Luckily it also quite easy to find a parking as my tummy ready for udon long ago… ehm……

We took a table inside Sanuki Udon and carefully “study” their menu. They only served udon and fried food. So, me & my sis had ordered udon and some fried food. My sis was ordered Sapporo as it looks kinda “popular” to drink bear than green tea (actually quite a number of people drink green tea la….). I force to drink green tea coz I’ll be driving later… aih~
Kitsune Udon

Not more than 10 mins, udon served! So fast!! I quickly taste the udon, it’s really so damn nice & no joke!! Really smooth & “duoi duoi” udon, not too hard but not too soft, left enough , small portion (for me la) and put you in a very difficult situation whether to order another bowl udon. At last I didn’t order another bowl coz I replaced it with some fried food, fried mushroom, fried prawn, fried ladies finger & fried sweet potato.

We finished all the food in less than an hour as the workers are very efficient, I think it is good if you wanna try out sanuki udon during lunch time, it will packed with people but you may not have to wait longer for an available seat.

Besides, add on udon is available for the price of RM3 if one bowl is not enough for you (just like me!!). And they also sell fresh udon with a minimum purchase of 1kg for the price of RM20. Refer to their order paper, they also offer udon steamboat which cost RM18 suitable for 2 pax. So, don't try to eat udon steamboat as you may not able to finish it.

Menu ^^ See the price!! cheap ~~
